Harvey Mayse Building, unknown dates. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a hangar-type building (the Harrey Mayse Building) being built, trees, andgrass growing out of concrete or hard-packed earth. Image 28 shows the front of the Harrey Mayse building with a Ford SUV-style vehicle and a smaller sedan parked in front. A man on a ladder is hanging corrugated siding at the right side of the front of the building. Image 29 shows two men hanging corrugted siding on one of the long walls of the building. The sedan and Ford SUV are visible at the left side of the image. Image 30 is similar to image 29, but the photographer has moved back and to their right. There are many pieces of debris in the foreground. There is a long-bodied sedan with its trunk open parked ner the center of the image. Image 31 is similar to image 30, but the photographer has moved further back from the building. There is brush and long grass in the foreground, and a man is visible standing on the right-hand end of the building's roof. Image 32 shows wooded area with many coniferous trees. There is some open ground with tire ruts in it in the foreground of the image. Image 33 shows graass growing out of concrete or hard-packed earth. Image 34 shows the building from the opposite end from that shown in image 28. There is a concrete structure visible at the right side of the image, and a man is visible standing at the front edge of the roof.
Printed at intervals along one edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."Made/Created
