Marlyta Deck, unknown date. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two women and one man posing with some dahlias in a backyard. Image 2 shows a woman in a fur coat holding approximately four large dahlias. Her head is oriented toward the left side of the image frame. Image 3 is very similar to image 2, but the woman's head is oriented directly at the camera. Image 4 shows the woman shown in the previous two photos standing at the right side of the image next to the dahlias. There is a man in glasses at the center of the image, and a woman in a long jacket to the left. This image shows that the dahlias are growing out of a flower pot. Image 5 shows the same scene, but the photographer has moved several feet to their left. Image 6 again shows the same scene, but the photographer is several feet to the right of their position in image 4. Image 7 shows the woman in the long jacket speaking and the other two people listening to her. Image 8 shows the woman in the long jacket and the man with glasses looking toward the camera while the woman in the fur coat is looking at the woman in the long coat.
Printed in alternation along one edge of both of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
