Description

Bill Wilson, unknown date. These four film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man (Bill Wilson) helping two young women and two young men with woodworking projects. These images appear to show a woodshop classroom. Image 13 shows Mr. Wilson showing a young man in a western-style shirt how to proceed through a part of a woodworking project. The images is oriented vertically. Image 14 shows a very similar scene to that of image 13, but the image is oriented horizontally. Imag 15 shows Mr. Wilson showing the oung man in the western shirt how to use a square. The young man is holding a writing utensil. Image 16 shows Mr Wilson showing the young man in the western shirt how to use a handsaw. Both Mr. Wilson and the young man have a hand on the handle of the handsaw. Image 17 is similar to image 16, but only the young man is holding onto the handsaw. Image 18 shows Mr. Wilson pointing to something on a table in front of a young man wearing a shirt with a cartoon rat on it. The young man in the western shirt is using the saw in the background. Image 19 shows the boy with the cartoon rat on his shirt using the square on his project. The young man in the western shirt is still sawing in the background. Image 20 shows the boy with the cartoon rat on his shirt about to make a mark on his project while Mr. Wilson goes back to assisting the young man in the western shirt. Image 21 shows Mr. Wilson watching while the young man in the shirt with the cartoon rat on it makes a mark on his project. Image 22 shows Mr. Wilson showing something to the young man in the shirt with the cartoon rat on it. Image 29 shows Mr. Wilson helping the young man in the western shirt use the square. This image shows Mr. Wilson and the young man from the side. Image 30 shows Mr. Wilson and the young man in the western shirt using a ruler on their project. Image 31 shows the young man in the western shirt marking on the project with a writing utensil while Mr. Wilson holds the ruler. Imahe 32 shows Mr. Wilson showing two young women how to paint black enamel on their projects. Image 33 shows Mr. Wilson watching the two young women painting the black enamel on their projects. Image 34 shows Mr. Wilson and one of the two young women painting with the black enamel. Image 35 shows Mr. Wilson speaking to one of the young women while the two young women are painting. Image 36 shows Mr. Wilson helping the two young women with their project while the young man in the western shirt watches from thhe right-hand side of the image. Printed at intervals along one edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
