Unidentified people, unknown dates. These nine black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using at least three different film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are duplicted. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be divided according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the image's physical numbers (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show a choir singing, a pastor reading a document into a microphone, a woman playing a piano while two men stand nearby, a Royal Rangers award ceremony, two boys posing with trophies and a flower blooming at the base of a tree. Image 1a shows two men in glasses, pastor's collars, and blazers standing near several other people at the base of a set of stairs. This image appears to have been captured under the rotunda of the Washington State Capitol. One of the pastors is speaking to a man with glasses and a goatee who is writing something down on a pamphlet. Image 2a shows a choir performing while a man in glasses in the foreground plays the piano. This image also appears to have been captured under the rotunda of the Washington State Capitol. Image 3a shows a man in a pastor's collar reading a document in his hand into a microphone. Images 4a is nearly identical to image 3a. Image 5a shows the man in a pastor's collar from images 3a and 4a still reading the document into the microphone, but the photographer has either moved closer or zoomed in on the man in the collar. Images 3a-5a also appear to have been captured under the rotunda of the Washington State Capitol. Image 7a shows a woman playing a piano. A man with glasses is standing on the opposite side of the piano and writing something down on a sheet of paper. A second man, without glasses, is standing on the other side of the woman and resting his right arm on a second piano. Image 8a is similar to image 7a, but the photographer has moved slightly to their right. The man in the glasses is still looking downward and writing. Image 9a is very similar to image 8a, but the man in glasses is looking toward the two other people. Image 10a is very similar to image 9a, but here the man without glasses is looking more upward. Image 11a is very similar to image 9a, but the photographer has moved closer or zoomed in. Image 12a is nearly identical to image 11a. Image 13a shows the man with glasses holding his pen with the tip pointed upward and the woman at the piano looking at a small book. Image 14a shows a very similar scene to that of the previous image, but the photographer has moved slightly to their right. Image 34a shows twelve boys posing for a picture, each with an award of some kind. According to their uniforms and some of the awards, they are members of a group called the Royal Rangers. Images 34a-36a are nearly identical to image 34a. Image 37a shows two boys, one much taller than the other, each holding a trophy. Image 38a is nearly identical to image 37a. Image 39a shows a close-up view of a small flower blooming at the base of a tree. The images in group "b" show blurry shots of a wall and a pair of scissors, and a man in a plaid shirt posing for photos. Image 4b shows a blurry shot of a wall with a framed picture or document hanging on it and a portion of a window. Image 5b shows a very blurry image of an object that appears to be a pair of scissors. Image 6b shows a young man in a plaid shirt with a turtleneck underneath and smiling as he poses for a photo. Images 7b-11b are nearly identical to image 6b. Image 2c shows a man in a striped suit jacket and a striped tie posing for a photo. His right arm is lifted slightly and extended outside of the image frame. Images 3c and 4c are nearly identical to image 2c. Image 14c shows a man (Mike Ostrander) in a suit jacket and striped tie with a very small Rotary pin on his lapel posing for a photo. Images 15c-17c are nearly identical to image 14c.
