Real estate, unknown dates. These fifteen black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using many different film rolls, so many of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated several times. For the purposes of this description, the strips will be grouped based on which film roll they appear to have originally come from. Each group will then be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the images' individual physical numbers (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.). The images on all of these strips show exterior shots of houses, many with real estate signs in the yard or hanging on the house. Images 37a shows a two-storey home with a garage occupying the first floor on the right-hand side of the house. There are six steps up to the front door, and a sign which reads "HDW" on a tall, narrow window to the left of the front door. There is a sign which reads "holly homes" hanging on the house to the left of the garage door. Images 38a and 39a are nearly identical to image 37a. Images 40a shows a single-storey home with an attached garage at the left-hand side of the house. There are decorative shutters flanking the two front windows, and there is no grass in the yard, suggesting that the house was newly-built at the time the image was captured. There is an Evergreen Olympic Realty sign in the front yard. Images 41a and 42a are nearly identical to image 40a. Image 1a shows a single-storey home with an attached garage at the right-hand side of the house. Image 8b shows a single-storey home with an attached garage at the left-hand side of the house.
