Nisqually Track, unknown date. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a grader on a curving dirt track. There is one man in a suit and tie present, and a second man wearing a plaid hat operating the grader. Image 4 shows the man in the plaid hat inside the cab of the grader and looking down at the man in the suit, who is standing next to the grader. Image 5 is similar to image 4, but the photographer has moved slightly to their right. Image 6 is similar to image 5, but the photographer has moved back toward the left sligtly, but not as far as in image 4. Image 7 shows a similar scene to the previous three images, but the photographer has moved 6-10 feet to their left. Both the man in the suit and the man in the plaid hat are looking toward the left side of the image frame. Image 8 shows the man in the suit looking up toward the man in the plaid hat, who is in the cab of the grader. The man in the plaid hat is looking toward the camera. Image 9 shows both men standing on the dirt track with their bodies oriented toward eachother. The man in the suit is looking toward the camera, and the man in the plaid hat is looking away from the camera. Image 10 is similar to the previous image, but both men are looking back toward the camera.
Printed in alternation along one edge of these two film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
