Businesses, 1973. These images were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using two different film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips used to differentiate bettwen images are repeated. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Both of the groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show a man (Gene Fasano) and a woman (Sally Fasano) posing for photos inside a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop. Image 36a shows Mrs. Fasano looking toward the right side of the image and smiling. Images 37a and 38a are nearly identical to image 36a. Image 39a shows Mr. Fasano facing toward the left-hand side of the image frame. He is not smiling. Image 40a is similar to the previous image, but the man is turned more toward the left. Image 41a is very similar to image 40a, but Mr. Fasano is smiling. Image 42a is very similar to image 39a, but Mr. Fasano is smiling. Image 43a shows both the man and the woman holding onto the same ice cream cone. The cone has five scoops of ice cream on it. The images in group "b" show a man (Thomas Huntamer) in glasses and a light jacket posing for photos in an outoor area and a man (C. Dale Ferrier) in a suit and tie posing for photos in an unknown area. Image 35b shows Mr. Huntamer in glasses and the light jacket posing for a photo with his hands in his pants pockets. There is a two-story building, a gas pump, and several buses visible in the background. Images 36b-38b are nearly identical to image 35b. Image 42b shows Mr. Ferrier posing for a photo against a blank background. He is wearing a tie with horizontal stripes and his handkerchief is folded to have four points sticking out of his breast pocket. He is smiling.
The images of Gene and Sally Fasano were created to accompany an article in the Lacey Leader concerning the Fasano's purchase of the Baskin-Robbin's franchise location in Lacey. (Lacey Leader, 9/12/1973, pg.5)
