Keegan Family get together, unknown dates. These eleven color film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Three different film rolls were used in the creation of these images, so some of the physical numbers on the strips used to differentiate images are duplicated. For the purposes of this description, these images will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of the two groups will be assigned a lower case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differnetiate between images. The images in group "a" show a shirtless man seated on a couch, a large inlet, and people celebrating at one or more parties. Image 1a shows the shirtless man seated on the couch from a straight-on point of view. He is visible from the knees up. Image 2a is nearly identical to image 1. Image 3a shows the man, still from a straight-on point of view, but the photographer has zoomed in or moved closer. The man is visible from the waist up. Image 4a is similar to the previous image, but the photographer has again moved closer. Image 5a shows the shirtless man, but the photographer has moved to their right slightly. Image 6a shows the large inlet. There are geese on the near shoreline and buildings on the far shoreline. Image 7a is nearly identical to image 6a. Image 8a is very similar to the previous to images, but three geese are walking through the foreground. Image 9a shows one woman and one man seated at a table. The woman is wearing a corsage and looking up toward the camera. The man is looking downward at a card or pamphlet. Image 10a shows Tumwater Falls. Image 11a shows two male-female couples speaking to eachother. The woman on the left-hand side is wearing a formal dress with lace on the shoulders and arms. The man on the left is gesturing with his left hand. The man on the right has a beard and is wearing glasses. Image 12a is blank. Image 13a shows the woman in the formal dress from image 11a speaking to another woman holding a purse on her arm. Image 14a shows six people posing for a photo. The woman in the formal dres is at the left, a woman win a knee-length skirt is at center, and a man with a mustache and glasses is at the right. Image 15a shows the man with the mustache and glasses from the previous image spreaking and pointing toward the woman in the formal dress. Image 16a shows the woman in the formal dress speaking to a woman in a floral-patterned shirt and holding a purse. Both are seated. Image 17a is very similar to the previous image, but the woman in the formal dress is laughing. Both are looking more toward the camera than in the previous image. Image 18a is similar to the previous image, but both women have turned slightly away from the camera. Image 19a shows a man and a woman seated on a couch. There is a stuffed dog next to the right of them on the couch. Image 20a is nearly identical to image 19a. Image 21a shows two women and two men posing for a a photo. The woman at the center of the image is wearing a dress with a vest over it. Image 22a shows five women posing for a photo. The woman furthest to the right is the woman in the formal dress. Image 23a is very similar to the previous image, but the photographer has either zoomed out or moved away. Image 24a shows four men and three women posing for a photo. The man at the center is wearing a suit and tie and a corsage. Image 25a shows a priest is glasses. The images in group "b" show a small lake and a party. Image 0b shows a small section of a lake. Image 1b shows a woman pouring water out of a pitcher onto a man's hands. Image 2b shows a woman in a long skirt standing next to a dining table and holding a hand towel in one hand and a bottle in the other. Image 3b shows a man with a mustache looking down at a book of music in his hand. A woman next to him is linking arms with him. The head and upper neck of an accoustic guitar is sticking into the image frame from the left. Image 4b shows ten people in a circle singing. Some are holding the small music books. A woman in a plaid shirt is the left-most person in the image. Only half of her body is within the image frame. Image 5b is similar to the previous image, but the circle has open up slightly to make more of the people fully visible. There is a woman in glasses partially visible at the bottom right corner of the image. Image 6b shows the woman in the plaid shirt reaching both hands in the air, and the man in the mustache is holding one of her hands. There is a woman holding a guitar at the left-hand edge of the image. Image 7b shows a group of people posing for a photo. The woman at the center is holding a cake. One of the women behind her is holding a coffee mug which reads "Something good is going to happen to you." Image 8b is very similar to the previous image, but the woman holding the mug in the previous image is crouching down so that only her head and shoulders are visible at the bottom of the image. Image 9b shows a man and a woman speaking with their faces very close together. The man is holding a coffee mug which reads "God is my source."
Printed along one long edge of the strips in group "a" is "FUJI" and "F-II-652." Printed along one long edge of the strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5035."Made/Created
