Real estate, unknown dates. These eight black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. The images were created with six different film rolls, so many of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated several times over. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show exterior shots of two different homes. Image 11a shows the rear side of a two-storey home with an attached garage at the side of the house closest to the camera. There is a station wagon parked in the driveway, and a coiled up hose hanging to the left of the front door. Image 12a shows a two-storey home with many large bushes growing directly next to the exterior walls of the house. The street number for the home is 3425. There is a Lacey Realty sign in the front yard. Image 20a shows a single-storey home with an attached garage at the left-hand end of the house. There is a chain-link fence surrounding the home, and a wheelbarrow in the yard to the right of the house. A portion of a car door is visible at the right-hand edge of the image. Image 21a is nearly identical to image 20a. The images in group "b" show exterior shots of two different homes. Image 7b shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with an attached garage at the right-hand side of the house. The street number of the house is 5502. Images 8b and 9b are nearly identical to image 7b. Image 22b shows a single-storey home with the street number 1441. This image was captured from approximately 20 feet to the left of a straight-on position to the front of the home. Image 23b shows the same home, but from a front-on position to the front of the house. In this image a carport is visible at the right-hand side of the home. The images in group "c" show a sign for a business and an exterior shot of a home. Image 1c shows a sign which reads "WE TAKE THE GOLD MEDAL IN QUALITY" and "ENTRANCE." Image 2c shows a two-storey home with a garage whic may or may not be attached at the far side of the house. At the left-hand side of the image is a street sign which reads "JOHNSON PT RD NE 5000." Image 3c is nearly identical to image 2c. The images in group "d" show exterior shots of a two-storey home. Image 13d is very blurry, so few details are discernible. Image 14d shows the same home. There is a two-car garage occupying the left-hand side of the first floor of the home. There is an Olympia Realty sign hanging near the mailbox. Image 15d is nearly identical to image 14d.
