Real estate, unknown dates. These twenty black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Many film rolls were used in the creation of these images, so many of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated one or more times. For the purposes of this description, the film strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with their physical numbers (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show exterior shots of four different homes. Image 9a shows a two-storey home with a garage partially visible behind the home. There is a large pine tree in the front yard and a rail fence visible behind the home. There is a lamp post on a brick base in the front yard. Image 10a is nearly identical to image 9a. Image 11a shows a two-storey home with no visible garage, but with what appears to be a carport partially visible at the rear of the home. A station wagon is parked next to this carport. The front yard is bordered by long pieces of driftwood arranged end-to-end. Image 12a is nearly identical to image 11a. Image 13a shows a single-storey brick home with an attached garage occupying the right-hand side of the home. The house is built on a hill, so there may be an additional bottom storey that is not visible from the perspective shown in this image. There is an Olympia Real Estate sign hanging at the center of the garage door. Image 14a is nearly identical to image 13a. Image 15a shows a single-storey brick home with an attached garage occupying the left-hand portion of the home. The street number for the home is 5019 and there is a Lacey Realty sign hanging from a tall tree immediately to the right of the garage door. Image 16a is nearly identical to image 15a. The images in group "b" show exterior shots of two different homes. Image 30b shows a single-storey home with an unattached garage at the rear of the home. There is a Ford pickup truck parked in the driveway with the license plate number TA1751. There is a car parked in front of the pickup. There is a swingset partially visible along the left-hand side of the home. Images 31b through 32b are nearly identical. Image 33b shows the same scene as the previous three images, but the photographer has moved further away from the home. Image 35b shows the same home, but the photographer has moved much further to the left. The swingset in the yard is completely visible in this image, and there is a detached pickup-mount camper in the yard to the right of the swingset. Image 36b shows a two-storey home with an attached garage on the left-hand side of the home. There is a small shed visible in the back yard of the home. A stack of firewood is visible behind the shed. There is a backhoe parked at the right-hand side of the image. The street number for the home is difficult to make out, but it appears to be 1805. Images 37b and 38b are nearly identical to image 36b. The images in group "c" show exterior shots of three different homes. Image 24c shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with an attached garage occupying the left-hand end of the home. The street number on the home appear to be 5021 or 5027. Two mailboxes are completely visible at the right-hand side of the image, as is a portion of a third. There is an Olympia Real Estate sign hanging on the housr to the right of the garage door. Image 25c shows a single-storey home with an attached garage occupying the left-hand side of the home. There is a group of three tall trees partially obscuring the right-hand side of the home. A very small portion of the front end of a car is visible in te bottom right corner of the image. Images 26c and 27c are nearly identical to image 25c. Image 28c shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with an attached garage occupying the right-hand end of the home. There is an M-shaped decoartive element above the garage door. There are three sets of roughly equal-sized double windows across the front of the home. Image 29c is nearly identical to image 28c. The images in group "d" show exterior shots of three different homes. Image 36d shows a single-storey brick home with an attached garage on the right-hand end of the home. There is a decorative element above the garage door using straight pieces of wood to create many interlocked triangles. There is an identical deocrative element above a section of the left end of the house which bumps out from the main structure. There is an Evergreen Olympic Realty sign in the front yard near the right-hand edge of the image frame. Images 37d-39d are nearly identical to imagge 36d. Image 40d shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with an attached garage at the right-hand end of the home. There is a sign on the home which reads "Larry Frizzell," then gives a phone number. Image 41d is nearly identical to image 40d. Image 42d shows a two-storey home with a garage on the lowest floor. There is a fairly long raised walkway leading from the driveway to the front door. There is a small coniferous tree at the right-hand side of the foreground. There is an Olympia Real Estate sign hanging to the left-hand side of the garage door. Image 43d is nearly identical to image 42d. The images in group "e" shows exterior shots of a home and a young girl viewng a display of quilts or embroidery. Image 40e shows a single-storey home with an attached garage occupying the left-hand end of the house. There is a pickup truck parked inside the garage, and a car parked in the front yard. The back end of a Ford pickup truck is visible to the right of the home. Images 41e and 42e are nearly identical to image 40e. Image 43e shows a female toddler in a plaid dress looking to her right toward the camera. There is an older girl partially visible at the left-hand edge of the image, as well as an adult's hand pointing to or reaching toward the toddler. Image 44e shows the toddler standing in front of a display or quiltwork or similar fabric art. The toddler is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 1e is very similar to image 44e, but the toddler is looking and reaching toward the display. The images in group "f" show exterior shots of four different homes. Image 13f shows a two-storey home with an attached garage occupying the right-hand side of the first floor of the house. There is a railed starway going from the driveway to the front door, and a Volkswagen Beetle parked in the driveway. The side-view mirror of a car is visible in the bottom right corner of the image. Image Image 14f is nearly identical to image 13f. Image 15f shows a single-storey home with a two-car garage occupying roughly the center of the home. There is a coiled garden hose hanging on the home to the left of the of the leftmost garage door. Image 26f shows a two-storey home with a two-car garage occupying the right-hand side of the bottom floor of the home. The street number for the home is 2706, and there is a car parked in the driveway. The sideview mirror of a car is partially visible at te bottom edge of the image. Image 27f is nearly identical to 26f. Image 28f shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with a garage occupying the left-hand end of the home. There is a folding camper parked in the driveway. There is a basketball hoop mounted above the garage door, and three garbage cans at the end of the driveway. The images in group "g" show exterior shots of two different homes. Image 16g shows a two-storey home with an unattached garage visible to the rear of the house. The house has a covered, open porch surrounded by a low wall and colums. There is a 1950's-era pickup truck parked in front of the garage. A fire hydrant is partially visible at the bottom edge of the image. Images 17g and 18g are nearly identical to image 16g. Image 19g shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with a garage occupying the right-hand end of the home. the garage door is open, and there is a coupe and an RV parked in the driveway. There is a Boone and Boone Realty sign in the front yard, and the sideview mirror of a car is partially visible at the bottom edge of the image. Image 35g shows a single-storey home with a garage occupying the left-hand end of the house. There is a pickup truck parked in the driveway, and there is a skeleton decoration on the front door. Images 36g and 37g are nearly identical to image 35g. Image 38g shows a two-storey home with an attached single-storey garage on the left-hand side of the home. There is a "SUPER STRUCTURES" sign near the left-hand edge of the image, and there is an Evergreen Olympic sign near the right-hand edge of the image. The images in group "h" show four women and three men posing for a group photo outside of the Evergreen Olympic Realty, Inc. office. Images 24h and 25h are nearly identical to image 23h. The images in group "i" show exterior shots of one home. Image 43i shows a small, single-storey home with no garage visible within the image. There is a concrete walkway bordered with flowers or decorative plants leading from roughly the position of the photgrapher to the front door. The corner of a separate building (perhaps the garage) is visible at the right-hand edge of the image. Images 44i and 1i are nearly identical to image 43i. The images in group "j" show exterior shots of two homes. Image 21j shows a single-storey, rambler-style home with a garage occupying the right-hand end of the house. A street sign visible near the right-hand edge of the image shows that the house is on St. Andrews SE. There is a Virgil Adams Real Estate sign in the front yard. Image 22j is very similar to the previous image, but it is very overexposed. Image 23j shows a single-storey home with a garage occupying the left-hand end of the house. There is a large pile of dirt or gravel in the driveway. The images in group "k" show a single-storey home with an attached two-car garage at the right-hand end of the house. The house is on a hill, so there may be a bottom floor not visible from the perspective shown in this image. One of the garage doors is completely open, and the other is partially open. The street number for the house appears to be 2916. Images 7k and 8k are nearly identical to image 6k. The images in group "l" show exterior shots of one home. Image 39l shows a single-storey home with a carport of the left-hand side of the home. There is a car parked in the carport, and a second car parked in the driveway. The front yard is bordered by a low lattice fence. There is an Olympia Real Estate sign on the corner of the fence nearest the camera. Images 40l and 41l are nearly identical to image 39l. The images in group "m" show a single-storey, rambler-style home with a garge occupying the right-hand end of the house. There is a brick facade covering the bottom half of the left-hand end of the house. There is an Olympia Real Estate sign hangong on the house to the right of the front door. Images 12m and 13m are nearly identical to image 11m.
