Unidentified People, unknown dates. These five black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using three different film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, the strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show portraits of young adults. Image 33a shows a young woman posing for a portrait photograph. She is wearing a brooch. She is not smiling. Image 34a and 35a are nearly identical to the previous image. Image 36a is very similar to the previous images. She as a full smile on her face. Image 37a shows a different young woman posing for a photograph. She is wearing a necklace and a collared dress with lace trim. She is smiling. Image 38a is virtually identical to the previous image. Image 39a is very similar to the previous image. She is not smiling. Image 40a is virtually identical to images 38a and 37a. Image 41a shows a young man posing for a photograph. He is wearing a partially unbuttoned dress shirt with a necklace. He is not smiling and his mouth is slightly open. Image 42a is similar to the previous image. His mouth is not open. Image 43a is virtually identical to the previous image. He is looking straight at the camera. Image 44a shows him very similar to the previous image. He is beginning to smile. Image 45a is very similar to the previous image. He is smiling. The images in group b show a young woman's portraits. Image 37b shows a different young woman posing for a photograph. She is not smiling and is wearing a collared shirt. She is looking to her right. Image 38b is very similar to the previous image. She is looking at the camera. She is not smiling. Images 39b, 40b and 41b are all very similar to the previous image. She is smiling. The images in group c shows photographs of an older woman in a blazer with a handkerchief tied around her neck. Image 23c shows her talking on the phone. The image is oriented horizontally. Image 24c is very similar to the previous image. The image is oriented vertically. Image 25c shows her not smiling and looking at the camera. Image 26c is very similar to the previous image. She is looking to her right.Made/Created
