Unidentified, unknown dates. These fifteen black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using at least eleven film rolls, so many of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, the strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show what appears to be an grain silo with a funnel-shaped bottom. This "silo" sits on an elevated platform. Image 1a shows the silo from approximately one block away. There is avery tall smoke stack to the right of the silo. Image 16a shows the silo much closer-up than in the previous image. Here the silo appears to be suspended from a construction crane. The silo appears to be at an industrial site or mill. Image 17a is similar to image 16, but the image was captured from somewhat below the silo. Image 18a is similar to the previous image, but the silo appears to have turned while suspended from the crane, and as a result a different side of the silo is visible in this image. Image 19a shows the silo, again from approximately one block away. The silo is suspended from a crane above a tall platform. Image 20a is similar to the previous image, but the photographer has moved much closer to the silo. Only the funnel section of the silo is visible in this image, along with a portion of the platform. There are two men standing on the platform. Image 21a shows a similar scene to that of image 20a, but almost the entirety of the silo is visible in this image. The images in group "b" show a man with a mustache and a collared shirt speaking on a telephone in front of a radio microphone in a radio studio. Image 6b shows the man holding the phone up to his ear with his left hand. He is reaching outside of the image frame with his right hand. His hand is outside of the image frame. Image 7b shows the man still on the phone. He is holding a pen up in front of his face. The pen is pointed upward. Image 8b shows the man holding the pen lower than in the previous image. The pen is pointed toward the right of the camera. Image 9b shows the man still on the phone. His right arm and hand are not visible in this image. Image 10b shows the man holding his right hand up toward his mouth. He is still holding the pen, and he appears to be laughing. Image 11b shows the man looking directly at the camera and holding up the index finger of his left hand. The images in group "c" show four men posing for a photograph in a radio studio. The man shown in the images in group "b" is the second man from the left, and he is wearing the same shirt as seen in group "b." Image 10c shows shows the four men posing for the photo. The man on the far right has a flower embroidered on the breast pocket of his shirt. Image 11c is nearly identical to image 10c. Image 12c shows the top of a person's head.
