Tumwater Winners, 1973 These 7 black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. The 7 pieces seem to be cut from the same roll and only one image is missing from the sequence images 43-9, image 1. The images shows portrait photgraphs of a winning Tumwater football team. Image 43 shows a yound man posing for a picture. He is facing his right and is smiling. He is wearing a letterman's jacket and collared shirt. Image 44 is very similar to the pervious image. He is facing his right and is not smiling. Image 2 shows a different young man also posing for a picture. He is facing his right and is smiling. He is wearing a letterman's jacket with a sports jersey underneath. Image 3 shows a different young man posing for a picture. He is facing his left and is smiling with his teeth showing. He also has a letterman's jacket with a polo underneath. Image 4 is very similar to the previous image. He is facing his left. Image 5 shows another different young man posing for a picture. He is wearing a letterman's jacket with a jersey underneath and glasses. He is facing his left and is smiling. Image 6 is similar to the previous image. He is facing his right and is not smiling. Image 7 is very similar to the previous image. He is smiling. Images 8 and 9 show the team altogether with their trophies and are virtually identical. The images are oriented horizontally. In both images a plaque is held by the person on the far left. It reads "Tumwater H.S. Captain's Award LYLE URWIN 1973" One edge of the film strips has "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM" printed on it.
