Black and white photo of Smith Troy. He has short dark hair and is wearing a dark suit over a white shirt and a dark tie. Portions of several buildings are visible behind him including the Washington Legislative Building. There is a white border on all sides. On the back in ink is "1 col", "(page 1)" and "Smith Troy". Mr. Troy served as Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney and Washington State Attorney General from 1940 to 1952. During World War II he had a leave of absence and served in the army in the ETO. This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
