Basketball Blazers, unknown dates. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using three different film negative strips, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with their physical numbers (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. The images in group "a" show Timberline basketball players, cheerleaders, and a very large number of spectators inside a very large sporting arena. Below the center of the image is a Blazers player with jersey number 43. He is facing the general direction of the camera. There is also someone with a video or television camera pointed at player 43. Image 18a shows a very large amount of spectators. The ceiling occupies approximately the top 1/3 of the image, and the ceiling is made up of many equally-sized rectangles. The images in group "b" appear to show the same event as shown in group "a." Image 11b shows five Timberline basketball players standing in front of a very large crowd. Some of the players have one arm in the air. The visible jersey numbers are 35, 25, 43 and 51.
