Description

Lee's Restaurant, dates unknown. These thirteen black and white contact photo film strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. For this description, the images will be divided into lettered groups. The images will still be enumerated, but the number will follow a letter (ex. A1, A2, B1, B2). Image A20 shows tables in a restaurant through a fireplace. The camera is pointing through a fireplace to take a picture of a restaurant's seating. The image is oriented horizontally. Image A21 shows more seating. The image is centered on a dividing wall with a painting and table next to it. There are bird shaped decorations on either side of the wall. Images A22, A23 and A24 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image A25 shows a wooden decoration with a fake bird on it. The image is oriented vertically. Images A26 and A27 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image A28 is very similar to the previous image. The images reveals the wooden decoration is next to a table in the restaurant. It is oriented horizontally. Images A29, and A30 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image A31 shows the dividing wall with the bird decorations from across the room, showing many more tables. Images A32, A33, A34, A35 and A36 are virtually identical to the previous image. B36 shows an older woman pulling some dish out of an oven. She is wearing an apron over a dress and glasses with oven mitts on. Image B37 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image B38 is very similar to the previous image. The picutre was taken from a different lower angle. Image B39 is very similar to the previous image. It is oriented vertically. Image B40 is very similar to the previous image. It is oriented horizontally. Image B41 and B42 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image B43 is very similar to the previous image. The picture was taken from a much lower angle. Image C34 shows another table close to the bird decoration. It is a two person table two chairs, napkins etc... The image is oriented vertically. Images C35, C36, C37 and C38 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image C39 shows a different room in the restaurant. There is a fireplace in the middle of the room with a ship's steering wheel on the wall above the fireplace. There are many tables around the wall with the fireplace. The top left corner of the image shows the wall with the painting and the bird decorations. The image is oriented horizontally. Image C40, C41 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image C42 shows booths in the restaurant with walls on either side. One of the walls shown has a large circle in it. Image C43 is very similar to the previous image. All the dividing walls in the image have large circles in them. Image C44 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image C1 shows two different tables near a fireplace. Both tables have some round item on them and the one on the left has two plates on it. A room with more tables can be seen through the fireplace. Image C2 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D23 shows the outside of the restaurant. There are signs on the building. The banner has "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dining Room". The roof sign states "Restaurant Lee's" and the small sign on the side has what appears to be Colonel Sander's face on it along with "Kentucky Fried Chicken". There are several cars in the parking lot. Image D24 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D25 is very similar to the previous image. It is a farther away shot of the restaurant. Image D26 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D27 is a shot of just the restaurant's signs. The image is oriented vertically. Image D28 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D29 is the front of the restaurant from the edge of the parking lot. Image D30 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D31 shows the restaurant from across the street. The signs are hard to read from the distance. Image D32 is very similar to the previous image. The image is from a different angle making it easy to read the large sign. Image D33 is very similar to the previous image. The picture was taken so the restaurant is seen through flowers in the field across the street. Image D34 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D35 is very similar to the previous image. The picture was taken from just across the street and at an angle making it easy to read the large sign. Image D36 is very similar to the previous image. It was taken from directly across the street from the front door of the restaurant. There are flowers in the bottom of the image. Image D37 is very similar to the previous image. It was taken so the restaurant is seen through flowers in front of the camera. Image D38 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image D39 is very similar to the previous image. It shows the front of the restaurant from in the parking lot. The back of all strips have "Lee's Restaurant" written on them
