Description

Unidentified People, 1973. These five black and white negative film strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. For this description the images will be divided into lettered groups. The images will still be enumerated but the number will be following a letter (ex. A1, A2, B1, B2). Image A18 shows a man sitting in a chair posing for pictures. He is wearing a collared shirt, tie and watch. His legs are crossed and he is leanig back. Images A19, A20 and A21 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image B30 shows a man and a woman posing for pictures. The man is wearing a collared shirt and tie and the woman is wearing what appears to be a restaurant uniform. She has a tag on her left side that has "Pacific Circle Drive In, Diane" on it. The image is oriented horizontally. They are both smiling. Image B31 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image B32 is very similar to the previous image. There are shelving behind the woman. Image B33 is very similar to the previous image. There are no shelves and the man is smiling at the woman. Image C35 shows a different man leaning on a shelf. The man is wearing a long doctor's coat and glasses. He has a tag on his coat with "Pay N Save Drugs, Darwin G. Peterson Store Manager" on it. The image is oriented vertically. Images C36 and C37 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image D38 shows a different man standing in a store looking at glassware. He is wearing a collared shirt underneath a vest. He is not smiling. Image D39 is very similar to the previous image. He is smiling. Images D40 and D41 are virtually identical to the previous image. Image E44 shows a different man holding unusual potatoes in each hand. The image is oriented horzintally. Images E1, E2 and E3 are virtually identical to the previous image. One edge of the film strips have "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM" printed on them. The sleeve for these film strips has "1-Man With Unusual Potatoes" written on it.
