Basketball Blazers vs. Rams, 1979. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a boys' high school basketball game between the Timberline Blazers and the North Thurston Rams. Image 4 shows several players from both teams under the basket. Player 50 for the Blazers is standing near the center of the image and is facing away from the camera. Image 5 shows player 50 for the Blazers about to grab a rebound. Players 25, 35 and 45 for the Rams are standing near to player 50 for the Blazers. Image 6 shows player 13 for the Rams appearing to pass the ball toward the camera. Player 32 for the Blazers is running toward him. Image 7 shows a player for the Rams having just released a jump shot. Player 44 for the Blazers is jumping toward the shooter. Player 44's mouth is open. Image 8 shows player 33 for the Rams having just released a jump shot. Player 35 for the Rams, player 50 for the Blazers and a referee are at the center of the image. Image 9 shows player 11 for the Rams having just released a jump shot. Players 50 and 44 for the Blazers are the players nearest to the left-hand side of the image. Image 10 shows a Rams player with a jersey number ending in 5 about to release a jump shot. Player 44 for the Blazers is running toward the shooter with one hand up in the air. Image 11 shows player 44 for the Blazers just to the right of the center of the image. He is facing away from the camera. Players 43 for the Rams and 42 for the Blazers are the players nearest the left-hand side of the image. Image 12 shows a player for the Rams holding the ball with both hands and crouching down slightly near the center of the image. Player 43 for the Rams and player 44 for the Blazers are the players nearest to the left-hand side of the image. Player 44 for the Blazers is immediately to the left of the ball handler. Image 18 shows several players from both teams roughly underneath the basket. Players 35 for the Rams and 44 for the Blazers are the players nearest to the camera. Both are facing away from the camera. Image 19 shows a player for the Blazers with a jersey number beginning with 2 dribbling the ball toward the left-hand side of the image. The ball is in the air immediately next to the hoop. Players 34 for the Blazers and 35 for the Rams are the players nearest the camera, and both are facing away from the camera. Image 24 shows player 35 for the Rams about to attempt a shot. Player 14 for the Blazers is jumping up to try and defend against the shot. A referee is near the right-hand edge of the image. Image 25 shows a person with horn-rimmed glasses holding up their right index finger near to the camera. Printed at intervals along one long edge of all of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
