Description

Humane Society, 1977. This single black and white negative film strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 27 shows two older women in a room with drinking glasses and a dog. The woman on the left is wearing a suit with a scarf, earrings and a pin in her left lapel. She is holding a small dog and a smiling. The woman on the right is wearing a collared dress with a stripe that goes along the edge of the clothing. She is also smiling. On the table in front of them are several drinking glasses, plates and a glass container of a beverage. Image 28 is virtually identical to the previous image. Image 29 is very similar to the previous image. The woman on the right is not smiling. Image 30 is very similar to the previous image. It shows just the woman on the left and the dog, the woman on the right is no longer in the image. Image 31 shows a large machine. It has a wide funnel shaped top and a wheel to turn on the front. One edge of the film strip has "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM" printed on it.
