Description

Chinese Gardens, 1977. This single black and white negative film strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 43 shows a group of older people, seven men and one woman, standing in front of a building. The building is the Chinese Gardens restaurant, located at 4582 Pacific Avenue in Lacey, Washington. All of the men are wearing suits and ties. The man on the far left, the far right and two from the right have glasses. The older woman is wearing a long dress with a beaded necklace and is holding a purse in her right hand. To their left on the building behind them has "Chinese Gardens" on it. They are all smiling. The image is oriented horizontally. Images 44, 1 and 2 are virtually identical to the previous image. One edge of the film strip has "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM" printed on it.
