Description

Norma Lukascik, 1973. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an older woman (Norma Lukascik) wearing a vest and a frilled blouse. There is a tag on the vest which reads "MRS. LUKASCIK MGR." The woman is in a clothing store, most likely Lyons in South Sound Center store. Image 38 shows Mrs. Lukascik smiling. This image is oriented horizontally. Image 39 is similar to the previous image, but the image is oriented vertically. Image 40 is similar to the previous image, but Mrs. Lukascik's head and body are turned toward the left-hand side of the image frame. These images were created to accompany an article in the Lacey Leader newspaper concerning Ms. Lukascik becoming the manager at the Lyons clothing store in South Sound Center. (Lacey Leader, 8/8/1973, pg.3) Printed in alternation along the left-hand edge of this image "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
