Lacey Elementary, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a little girl in a mid-to-late 19th century dress and bonnet and a little boy in overalls and a cowboy hat. These two children are posing for a photograph with a bicycle. There is a sign on the bicycle near the pedals which reads "HIGH FLIER." The bicycle seat reads "HUFFY." Image 1 shows the two children posing with the bicycle. The boy is holding onto the seat and the handlebars. Both of the children are looking toward the camera. Both children are visible from head to toe, and the image is oriented horizontally. Image 2 is similar to the previous image, but the children are both looking down at the bicycle. Image 3 is similar to image 2, but the image was captured from to the right of the girl. There is a sign mounted on the handlebars with a large number 1 on it. The girl is shown nearly in profile. Image 4 is similar to image 2, but the lower legs of the children are outside of the image frame. Image 5 is similar to image 4, but the photographer has moved toward their right slightly. Image 6 is very similar to image 3, but the image is oriented vertically. Image 7 is similar to image 6, but the girl has moved to the opposite side of the bicycle.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of each of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
