Description

Walt McBee, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man (Walt McBee) in glasses and an apron working in a meat shop or commercial kitchen. He is using a machine to flatten balls of ground meat into patties. Image 8 shows the man with ground meat in his right hand. He is shown in profile. Image 9 shows the man with his right hand over the machine and his left hand catching a meat pattie as it comes out of the machine. Image 10 shows the man using both hands to place a meat pattie into a tray. Image 11 shows the man with his left hand on top of the machine and his right hand positioned to catch a pattie as it comes out of the machine. The face of the man's watch is visible in this image. Printed in alternation along one side of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
