George Yantis, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 14 shows a piece of fabric with fabric letters sewed onto it which spell out "TROOP 209." There are also approximately 20 merit badges sewn onto the large piece of fabric. Image 15 shows nine merit badges arranged on a table or in a display case. A box of Girl Scout cookies is visible at the top edge of the image. Image 16 shows an older man (George Yantis) in glasses and wearing a suit and paisley tie. His head and body are oriented toward the left-hand side of the image frame. He is smiling.
