Longacres, 1973. These three black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman petting a stabled horse, a horse laying on a pile of hay, a woman inside a stable with a horse, an outdoor shot of a building, and a large locker room. Image 15 shows a woman Annette Bagley) petting a stabled horse. She is bent at the waist slightly and leaning toward her left. Image 16 is similar to the previous image, but Mrs. Bagley is standing up straight. The horse is turning its head toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 17 is similar to the previous two images, but the horse's nose is near to Mrs. Bagley's left hand, which is holding a handbag. Image 18 shows the Mrs. Bagley's right hand blurred from motion near to the horse's snout. Image 19 shows a horse laying down in a stable stall. Image 20 is nearly identical to image 19. Image 21 shows a woman in a stable stall with a horse. There is a large amount of hay on the floor of the stall, and the woman is crouching down and holding the horse's leg. The woman is smiling. Image 22 shows two manicured, conical bushes in the lawn in front of a large, two-storey building. Image 23 is very similar to the previous image, but the photographer has panned toward the right. Less of the building is visible in this image than in the previous. Image 24 shows a large locker room with a checkered floor. There are many jackets hanging from the ceiling. One long bench is visible in this image. Image 25 also shows the same locker room, but here two rows of jackets are visible hanging from the ceiling. A large pot or bucket is visible at the bottom center of the image.Made/Created
