Description

MAD Festival, unknown dates. These thirteen black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using several different film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to which film roll they originally came from. Each of these groups will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images. She is on the taller of the two stools, and she is completely bent over backward, with both her hands and feet on the stool. Image 41a shows the girl standing on the taller stool. Both of her arms are out to the sides, and both of her feet are on the stool. Image 42a shows the girl standing with both arms and one leg extended outward. She is standing on one foot. One of the women from the previous image is standing next to him, and more of the drumset is visible than in the previous image.
