Description

Timberline Band Uniform, 1973. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a young man in a marching band uniform and tha man in a suit and beaded tie posing for photos. There is a chestpiece on the marching band uniform which reads "Blazers," "Timberline" and "1970." Image 29 shows the young man in the marching band unifrom holding a furred marching band hat with his left hand. His mouth is open slightly. The young man in the marching band uniform and the man in the beaded tie are looking down at the hat. Image 30 is very similar to the previous image, but the young man in the band uniform has turned his body more toward the man in the beaded tie. His mout is no longer open. Image 31 shows the man in the beaded tie pointing to a tassle on the furred hat. Image 32 shows the young man in the band uniform smiling or laughing. The man in the beaded tie is tilting his head toward the camera slightly. Image 33 is very similar to the previous image, but the man with the beaded tie is no longer tiling his head toward the camera. Image 34 is very similar to image 33, but the young man in the band uniform is no longer smiling. Image 35 is similar to the three previous images, but both of the men in the image are laughing. Printed in alternation along one long edge of these film negative strips are "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
