Lacey India Display, 1973. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show various items displayed on top of a table or desk. These items include: a carved wooden elephant, a sunflower-style decoration made from peacock feathers, an embroidered vest, a pair of shoes, a recorder/flute and others. Image 22 shows the sunflower-shaped decoration at the center of the image. At the top of the image is the bottom portion of a piece of paper hanging from the wall. This piece of paper reads "India." Image 23 shows a close-up of the wooden elephant. Image 24 is nearly identical to image 23. Image 25 shows the sunflower-shaped decoration and the wooden elephant at the center of the image. Two small vases are visible at the far-right edge of the image. Image 26 shows a front-on view of the sunflower-shaped decoration. Visible in the top right corner is a portion of a small banner bearing an illustration of a woman carrying a container vessel. Image 27 shows a top-down view of the items on the table. The front portion of the pair of shoes are visible near the top-left corner of the image.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of both of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
