Description

School Kids, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show several children participating in an educational activity focused on Native American cultures. Image 38 shows two children seated on the floor near many paper teepees. There is also a table behind the children holding many Native American garments and accessories, as well as a drawing of a Native American man. The child on the right is looking downward. Image 39 is very similar to the previous image, but here both children are looking toward the camera. This image is oriented horizontally. Image 40 is very similar to the previous image, but it is oriented vertically. Image 41 shows a man in a striped button-up shirt kneeling next to two children. The child nearer to the camera is wearing one boot mostly covered in hair. Image 42 is nearly identical to the previous images. Printed in alternation along one edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
