Description

Bank of Olympia Dedication, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two women and four men standing in front of the Bank of Olympia. The two women are holding the ends of a ribbon with a dollar bills design on it. One of the men is holding a pair of scissors to the ribbon in preparation to cut it. Image 6 shows a man in a tie with paisley stripes on it holding the scissors up to the ribbon. Image 7 is nearly identical to image 6. Image 8 shows a man in a plaid jacket holding the scissors to the ribbon. The man is looking downward. Image 9 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man in the plaid jacket is looking toward the camera.
