Description

A single photo of a man and a woman on a stage in front of an apparently empty auditorium (no people in the few seats one can see in the background). The two people are sharing some documents between them (pages and a large paper clip can be seen. The man's profile looks distinctly like Dr. Ward Miles (he is wearing glasses, a tie and a sports jacket). The woman has very curly hair and is not wearing glasses (she is in a high-necked blouse covered by a jacket with a tie).

Context

(If it is Dr. Ward Miles in the photo) Dr. Miles played a significant role in the establishing of the Olympia Medical Center (part of Group Health Cooperative) and later served as GHC's Medical Director. He also was on the State Health Coordinating Council under Governor John Spellman.
