Description

KITN's Don Whitman, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man with glasses (Don Whitman) wearing a short-sleeved, button-up shirt seated at a desk and reading from a document in his hands. There is a microphone immediately in front of his face, and there are various pieces of radio and sound equipment visible on the desk. Mr. Whitman is wearing headphones. A typewriter is also visible on the desk. Image 12 shows Mr. Whitman seated at the desk and looking down at the document in his hands. Images 13-16 are nearly identical to image 12. Image 17 is very similar to the previous image, but the photographer has lowered their point of view slightly and also moved closer to or zoomed in on Mr. Whitman. Images 18 and 19 are nearly identical to image 17. Printed in alternation along one long edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
