Description

Chamber Officers, 1975. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a bald man in a suit folding his arms, a bearded man speaking at a podium, and approximately 20 people standing roughly in a line in a parking lot. Image 30 shows a bald man in a suit folding his arms. He is shown in profile. Image 31 shows a man (Ron Rowe) in glasses, a plaid blazer and patterned tie speaking at a podium. The front of the podium reads "LACEY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE." The building behind the man also reads "LACEY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE." Image 32 shows approximately 20 people standing in a rough line in a parking lot. The man at the far right has a camera hanging around his neck. The woman immediately to the left of the man with the camera around his neck is Agnes Kenmir. A railroad car in the background reads "SOUTHERN PACIFIC." Image 33 is very similar to the previous image, but the man with the camera is kneeling down. Printed in alternation along one long edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
