Description

Farmland, 1974. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a large field of an unknown crop (possibly corn). Image 27 shows the field and a barbed wire fence. The fence is crossing the image diagonally. Image 28 is very similar to the previous image, but the photographer has panned to the right somewhat. Image 29 is again similar, but the photographer has moved closer to the fence. Image 30 is similar to the previous image, but the photographer has panned to their right slightly. The farmland shown in these images was the future site of one of the local schools. (Ken Balsley interview, 9/1/2017)
