Description

Camera Et Cetera, unknown date. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show the storefront of a Cameras Et Cetera camera store with a man standing in front of the display window. These images likely show the Cameras Et Cetera location in South Sound Center. Image 30 shows the front of the store from just to the right of a straight-on view. Image 31 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved approximately six feet further toward their right. A portion of the sign for the store to the left of Cameras Et Cetera is visible in this image, and this portion reads "RS." Cameras Et Cetera was a Puget Sound-area chain of camera stores, and their busiest location was their store in South Sound Center. The chain was founded as Ray's Cameras, but the name was changed to Cameras Et Cetera when it was sold by the founder. This film negative strip is too short to fully show any of the film type labels printed along the edge.
