Description

Jim McKay, 1974. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a bearded man (Jim McKay) in a turtleneck sweater laughing and making other facial expressions. Image 4 shows Mr. McKay standing in front of a piece of plywood. He is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 5 shows Mr. McKay with his head and body oriented toward the right-hand side of the image frame. He is looking toward the camera and smiling widely. Image 6 shows Mr. McKay looking toward the right-hand side of the image frame. He is shown in profile, and the image was captured from somewhat above the height of his head. Image 7 shows Mr. McKay facing toward the left-hand side of the image frame. He is not smiling and is shown in near-profile. Image 8 shows Mr. McKay laughing. His head and body are oriented toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 9 shows Mr. McKay in the same position as in the previous image, but here he has a serious look on his face. Image 33 shows Mr. McKay holding the camera at waist-level and taking a picture upward toward his face. He is looking down toward the camera. Images 34 and 35 are nearly identical to image 33. Image 36 shows Mr. McKay facing toward the left-hand side of the image frame but looking over toward the camera and smiling. A tall shelf-style document file is visible behind him. Image 37 shows Mr. McKay laughing and looking toward the right-hand side of the image. Image 38 shows Mr. McKay facing toward the left-hand side of the image frame with a small smile on his face. Image 39 shows Mr. McKay looking toward the camera with a suprised look on his face. These images were created for inclusion with a story highlighting Jim McKay and his music career.
