Bruce Baker and Susan Miller, Rotary Club Winners, 1973. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show several people posing individually and in various combinations for photos in front of a brick wall. This brick wall is an outer wall of the Lacey Leader offices. Image 39 shows a man (Bruce Baker) with wavy hair in a suit and tie posing for a photo.. The tie and shirt are both striped. The man is shown from the chest up. Image 40 also shows Mr. Baker, but here his entire torso is visible. He is holding a trophy with a figure of a man in a graduation gown and cap on it. A second figure depicts an eagle. Image 41 shows a woman (Susan Miller) with long hair wearing a dress with a plaid vest-like section on it. She is shown from the mid-torso up, and the graduation figure on the top of her trophy is partially visible at the bottom of the image. Image 42 shows Ms. Miller from approximately the knees up. She is holding the trophy in front of her, and her head and body are oriented toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 43 shows Susan Miller posing for a photo with a shorter woman wearing a pea coat on the left and a taller man in a suit and tie on the right. Image 44 is nearly identical to image 43. Image 1 shows Bruce Baker posing for a photo with a woman in a long jacket with mid-forearm length sleeves on the left. Image 2 shows Susan Miller and Bruce Baker posing for a photo together.
