Description

Black and white photo of Harry Lewis. The photo was taken through a doorway with Harry sitting at a desk and another man leaning on the desk facing Harry. Harry is mostly bald and is wearing a white shirt with a dark tie. The other man has dark hair and is wearing a dark suit over a white shirt and dark tie. On the desk are many papers, a pen, eye glasses, and an electrical cord. Behind the men is a wall with wainscoting at the bottom and white above it. A portion of an unidentified object is visible at the left. A door is visible in the foreground with a door knob and glass in the upper portion. On the glass is painted (blurry in this image) "Senator Harry B. Lewis Member Minority Caucus Secretary". There is a white border on all sides and the borders at the top and bottom are larger. On the back in dark felt pen is "13 42 [in a circle]" and in red ink is "Lewis". A stamp in black ink says "This is a Greg Gilbert Photo 2514 South Columbia Street Olympia Washington Phone 357-7175 'Photography with Originality'". In blue ink is "Sept 15". Harry Lewis was a state senator from Thurston County.
