On the back is a paper pasted to the print and which has typed on it "(2) SHARON THOMAS EXPLAINS DEVELOPMENT OF MONUMENT Sharon Thomas, Indian Studies instruction [sic] at Timberline High School in Lacey, explains the origination and development of the Medicine Creek Treaty Tree Monument, and points out that the class is now seeking funds for a plaque and a time capsule vault to be placed on the monument. The time capsule will be opened in 2076 and will contain several artificats [sic] and news stories related to the history of the ancient and historic Medicine Creek Treaty Tree".
