Hickory Farms, 1974. These three black and white negative film strips were created for the Lacey Leader Newspaper. Images 20 through 25 show four people, two employees, a man and a woman dressed as farmhands, and two older women customers. Image 20 shows the four people in front of and facing a counter in the middle of the photo, the two employees to the left and the two customers to the right. The man is closer to the counter and is holding a container in his left hand while showing a product on a scooper to the customers with his right hand. Image 21 is similar to Image 20 but the man now has his right hand over the container. Image 22 is similar to Image 21 but the male employee is now showing both the container and the scoop to the older customers while the female employee is now looking at the container. Image 23 is similar to Image 22 but the male employee had the scooper in the container and the female employee holding her hands together doing something. Image 24 is similar to Image 23 but everybody is now looking the container. Image 25 is similar to Image 24 but the female employee has her hands on here hips.
Images 26 through 33 show three kids, two girls and a boy playing in a kid-sized Hickory Farms barn. Image 26 shows one girl looking out from the barn hay door with a boy and a girl with a ballon at her side, standing on the right side of the barn with the boy holding a door in the barn open. All three kids have smiles on _there_ faces. Image 27 is similar to Image 26 but the girl with a ballon is now holding it outward. Image 28 is similar to Image 27 but the photograph is rotated 90 degrees to the right. The girl with the ballon is no longer smiling. Image 29 is similar to Image 28 but the girl with the ballon is attempting to smile. Image 30 is similar to Image 29 but the photograph is rotated 90 degrees left, back to normal. The girl with the ballon is no longer smiling. Image 31 is similar to Image 30 but all three kids are smiling. Image 32 is similar to Image 31 but the smile on the girl with the balloon has faded slightly. Image 33 is similar to Image 32 but the boy and the girl with the balloon is no longer smiling and the girl in the window is looking to her right.
Printed along the edge is "KODAK FILM STRIP" and "KODAK TRI W PAN FILM".Made/Created
