Description

Black and white photo of two individuals. On the left is a man with short light colored hair and wearing glasses. He has on a white jacket over a white shirt and patterned tie. He has dark trousers. On the right is Governor Dan Evans. He has on a light colored suit over a white shirt and dark tie. He is holding a wooden sword that is the emblem of the Cancer Society. On a table before the two are multiple papers including a certificate. Also on the table is what appears to be a zipper notebook. In the background is a portion of the U. S. flag and features of an office wall. There is a white border on all sides. On the back in pencil is "Cancer Crusade", and in ink "96%". A stamp in black ink says "Carter Studio 510 East 4th Ave. Olympia, Wash 98501". This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
