In the background is sitting a man identified as George Yantis. He has short dark hair and glasses. He has on a light colored jacket over a white shirt and dark tie. Between the three persons in the forefront are boxes that hold or had held television sets. On the top box is printed "Portable TV" and "RCA" repeated. On the bottom box is "RCA 17" Portable Color TV" along with an arrow pointing up. On the wall in the background is a portion of a U. S. flag and pictures. There is a white border on all sides. On the back in ink is "83%" and in pencil "George Yantis (in background)". There is a pasted-on paper that says in red ink "Lord Hyatt photographers P.O. Box 193 Olympia, Wa. 98507 [206] 943-5307". George Yantis was a Thurston County Commissioner. This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
