A desk lamp is visible at the left side of the image. There is a white border on all sides. On the back in felt pen is "Diana Restaino, Fuller" and a stamp in black ink that says "R. E. Jenkins".
This image was received by the museum in a brown envelope with a return address that said in red ink "Ladies Aux V. F. W. Dept of Wash 400 Boren Avenue P.O. Box C14111 Seattle, WA 98114 Return Postage Guaranteed". In green felt pen was "Short Story & pixs Jenkins". The addressee on the envelope was "Dorthea E. Jenkins 318 1114 NE Marion Olympia WA 98506:. A postage-paid stamp was in the upper right corner.
