Surrounding the land is the water of Budd Inlet with poles that have been driven into the water visible throughout. On the land are numerous buildings, roads, log stacks, and vehicles. A ship is moored at the wharf near the right of the image. Near the top of the image is the Olympia Yacht Club docks, and the downtown portion of Olympia is visible along with trees and houses. In the upper right corner is the capital campus and a portion of Capital Lake. There is a white border on all sides. In the lower right corner is a stamp in yellow that says "Western Ways, Inc Corvallis, Oregon". On the back is a stamp in red ink that says "Western Ways Inc Aerial Photographic Specialists Corvallis, Oregon Phone 3-5266 Re-Order No." The last part of the stamp is a box in two parts with "Date" below one part and "No." below the other.
