Description

Black and white photo of the measuring of salmon eggs. Three buckets are positioned on a wooden table and a person's hands are visible holding a cup full of eggs. The bucket near the bottom of the image and the one above it have wooden handles on a wire bail. Both are full of eggs. The bucket at the top is only partially visible and a shadow for all three buckets can be seen. Beside the table on the left is part of the floor There is a white border on all sides. On the back in ink is printed "C.526 Photo by W. A. Cooper 1102 S 6th St., Kelso, Wash." and "Measuring Chinook Salmon eggs Kalama River State Hatchery Sept, 1938". and in pencil "Kalama Hatchery".
