Description

Fr. John Scott, 1977. These two black and white negative film strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 31 shows two men, standing in front of a building labeled Abbey Theater. The man on the left has a beard, is wearing glasses, and has a name tag that identifies him as Father John Scott. The man on the right is also wearing glasses but his hair and beard are longer. This second man is Mike Kenmir. Both of them are holding a slip of paper. Fr. Scott is looking at the camera while the long haired man is looking at the slip of paper. Both of them are smiling. The front of the building has double doors, an overhang, and four windows on each side. Image 32 is similar to Image 31 but Fr. Scott is now looking toward the long haired man. Image 33 is similar to Image 32 but now both people are looking at each other. Image 34 is similar to Image 33 but now both people have a serious expression. Image 35 is similar to Image 34 but Fr. Scott has moved to the right side of the long haired man, revealing the slip of paper to be a check. The long haired man is looking toward the photographer. Fr. Scott is looking in the direction of the long haired man. Image 36 is similar to Image 35 but both people are smiling again and looking at the photographer. Printed along the edge is "KODAK SAFTY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
