Lacey School 1st grade class from the 1923-1924 school year depicted in black and white 5" x 7" photograph with an unevenly spaced border surrounding the image, ranging from ¼" to ½" wide. There are 29 students and one teacher pictured. The front row is comprised of ten girls and five boys, the second row four girls and ten boys and the back row has seven boys and five girls. The teacher, possibly Miss Greta E. Miller, is sitting to the right of the group on the wall next to the steps. The group is pictured outside in front of the Lacey School. The students are posed with their bodies facing to the left, their left hand on the shoulder of the student in front of them with their faces toward the camera. Some of the front doors and windows are visible above the students. At the bottom right of the image is written in white: "#927." Pictured in the front row, left to right: Dick Levesque, six unknown students, Herman Reinhardt, four unknown students, Lenore Russell, George Bowker, and Paul Banard. In the back row: six unknown students, Frank Radcliff, two unknown students, Bill Ottinger, Lillian Nelson, two unknown students and the teacher. On the back of the photo, in the upper right corner is written in pencil: "#1625" and below this "1994-048" presumably by museum staff. There are many accretions present due to this photograph having been removed from a photo album. Visible below them are a studio stamp. It appears to be from Perkins Studio, which can be seen on other Lacey School photos.
