Black and white photo of the old Washington Capitol building. The building is of light colored stone and has an arched entrance, turrets and conical roofs, domed roof parts, and a tower in the center that also has a domed roof and bay windows. The tower has arched openings and circular stonework design. There is a telephone pole in the foreground as well as trees. There is a white border on all sides. On the back is a stamp in purple ink "Custom Photo Service P. O. Box 5 Littlerock, Wash 98556 C. R. Jensen". In blue ink below the stamp is "July 1970" and also in blue ink is "Thurston County Courthouse 1901-1903". A stamp in blue ink says "State Capitol Museum 211 West 21st Street Olympia, Wash. 98501". In blue felt pen is "100%" crossed out, "100%" crossed out with green, an unreadable squiggle, and an "L" in a circle. In green felt pen is "85%" and "yes". There are indications of tape having been previously attached in four places.
