Lacey School boys' baseball team from the 1923-1924 school year depicted in a black and white (brown-toned) 5" x 7" photograph with an unevenly spaced white border. There are probably 10 students and one coach pictured. Damage to the photograph obscures four of the players. The group is pictured outside on the side of the Lacey School. Garden level windows are visible behind them. The boys in the front row are sitting cross-legged, each with a baseball glove on. In front of them are the pads and mask for the catcher. The back row is facing forward, three with baseball gloves on. The boys are all in uniforms consisting of light-colored pin-striped shirts and pants with "LACEY" emblazoned on the front of the shirt. They are wearing similarly striped baseball caps with dark bills.
The coach, Willard Miller, is in the back row in the center, wearing a suit. The second boy from left in the front row appears to be Berle Thelander.
On the back of the photo, in the upper right corner is written in pencil: "#621" and "1989-002" and below this "c. 1923-1924 Lacey School Baseball" presumably by museum staff.Made/Created
