Black and white photo of the Governor's Mansion on the Washington State Capitol campus. In the foreground are flowers and vines in a bed and behind that is an area of lawn with a bird visible in the center. The Mansion is two and a half stories with bay windows in the roof area. In the center is the main entrance with white columns supporting a roof with deck railings and a frame for awnings. On each side is a portion of the building with gables and at each end of the building is a low extension with a deck. The structure appears to be built of brick and has white trim around the windows as well as a curved extension that seems to be a sun room. Trees are visible in the lawn area and in the background. Also in the background is a portion of an office building. There is a white border on all sides. On the back a pasted-on paper has typed "The Governor's Mansion at Olympia, Washington. Washington State Travel Photo". A stamp in blue ink says "1005 Capitol Way Olympia, Wash. Bus. 352-4283 Res. 352-9182 Cowley Photos Industrial -- Commercial -- Studio". A stamp in black ink says "Please credit Washington State Department of Commerce and Economic Development General Administration Bldg. Olympia, Washington 98501". In pencil is "2-8". In blue felt pen is "H" in a circle and "57%". In green felt pen is "OK 57%".
